Applications are also accepted from high school and college students who wish to serve as paid interns for the summer programs at the Carnegie Headquarters Building. Each summer, two high school and two college students are selected.

Location Information
The Carnegie Institution of Washington Headquarters Building is located at the corner of 16th and P Streets, NW, and is readily accessible by Metrobus lines S2 and S4 on 16th Street and G2 on P Street, and the Metrorail Red Line, Dupont Circle station.

The Summer DCBiotech program for high school students and teachers is held at McKinley Technology High School in northeast Washington. The school is a few blocks from the Metrobus 90/92 and G8 lines and also walking distance from the New York Avenue station on the Metrorail Red Line.
