"Bermuda Dear Little Darling Mamie: I received yesterday all your most welcome letters written up to after Xmas. I had 30 or more letters in all. You are not the only one to be worried about money matters. I have 4 letters from the Bursar of C.I. [Carnegie Institution] relative to the payment of the $75 + he couldn't see why I did not at least give him the courtesy of a reply. Ha Ha. All 4 were written while I was on my way here, so he will see why I did not reply anyway. I have written him that I will see him in March + arrange for its payment. Capt. Kidson Smith + I went to the Eng. Church this morn. We were very much disappointed with their droning formal service. Page 1 | Page 2 | |
